A Full Day!

Today was a beautiful and full day.
We were greeted with a thunderstorm in the morning but it did not impact us at all.
The children were in their classes as we arrived to the school and greeted us with cheering. We should apologize to the teachers for being so disruptive :)

The day began with the nursery students painting their hand prints on new canvas book bags. Monday, those bags will be filled with objects related to their "Lost Sheep" Bible Study.

Tippy Tap hand washing stations were built by several of the older students.

Brad sang with the children both in the nursery and outside the clinic. It was a joyful noise!

Many sponsored students were greeted, photographed and presented with packets from their sponsors. They are so grateful for their educational opportunities.

Of course, a lot of playing happened!!!!

The young lady below gifted CCI with a rooster in thanksgiving for support during secondary school. she has graduated and would like to pursue a degree in education to teach at the secondary level! So proud.

Tonight at dinner, we shared where we saw Jesus today in our interactions with the children and people of Kawete. Each team member shared a different experience but, in the end, we agreed Jesus is everywhere.
Thank you for continued prayers and warm thoughts. More tomorrow.
